This book is a commentary on all the parables of Jesus in the gospel. Each parable is set forth in detail and following the parable are a commentary and interpretation of the parable. In all, 41 parables are printed and interpreted. Included in the book is a Preface as well as Acknowledgements. There are also three appendices. The first appendix is on the Ten Commandments; the second appendix comments and seeks to interpret The Sermon on the Mount. The third appendix consists of additional reflections on certain topics. The book concludes with a select bibliography.

Notă biografică
Andrew J. Schatkin is the proprietor of a law firm with three offices in New York City and Long Island. In addition to his law degree, Andrew J. Schatkin has degrees in International Law from The Hague in the Netherlands and Strasbourg, France. Andrew is the author of five book chapters as well as four books, two legal treatises and two books consisting of more general philosophical essays. Andrew has a M.Div degree in biblical and classical languages from Princeton Theological Seminary (Greek, Latin, and Hebrew). Andrew is listed in Whös who in America, Whös Who in the World and Whös Who in American Law.
Descriere
This book seeks to present to the society and to all faiths and persons in any walk of life that an interpretation of each parable where Jesus seeks to direct us and advise us, pointing from earth toward heaven. Some of the parables are warnings. The basic scope and subject of the book is to render to the reader some understanding of these stories in the New Testament.
