This book is about the parliament system in Nepal and Nepali political parties and their structures. Book is target for researchers and university students who are interested in Parliament systems and parliamentary democracy.The book synthesizes the socio-cultural political line of Nepali politics and political development of Nepal.The aim of this study is to examine the prospects of a successful parliamentary system in Nepal.It presents an analysis of the challenges faced by multiparty democracy and the parliament in Nepal.Currently, there are few reports on the Nepali parliamentary system, and many individuals and researchers have expressed the need for more holistic approaches in building a true democratic culture within political parties to promote democratization in Nepal.I endeavor to present one such approach with this study.The paper attempts to present a portrait of the Parliament in Nepal, the political parties and their leaders.It begins with an overview of the relevant literature, and an overview of democratization of Nepal.Then, it examines the political parties and parliament in Nepal, and their role in civil society.
