Patagonian Mesozoic Reptiles: Life of the Past
Editat de Zulma Gasparini, Leonardo Salgado, Rodolfo A. Coriaen Limba Engleză Hardback – 31 mai 2007
Distant and exotic, Patagonia has been one of the most attractive places for explorers and paleontologists. The amazing diversity of its fauna and flora, the richness of its fossil record, and the variety of its paleoenvironments, all contribute to making Patagonia the focal point for the study of the history of life on Earth. Patagonian Mesozoic Reptiles gathers in a single volume and for the first time our current knowledge about the evolution of the region and its reptiles. Each contribution amply demonstrates that Patagonia during the Mesozoic provides a distinct perspective on the evolution of life during a key chapter in the geological history of this region."

.".. an essential, up -- t" -- date collection for any dinosaur buff."--New Scientist
... this edited volume provides an excellent overview of the current state of the art as it concerns Mesozoic Patagonian reptiles, and will remain an invaluable resource for anyone interested in Mesozoic reptiles, or vertebrate paleontology in general, for years to come.--Oliver Rieppel, Geology, Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, Illinois"QUARTERLY REVIEW OF BIOLOGY" (01/01/2009)
... an essential, up--t
"Field work in the past two decades has made Patagonia one of the world's hotspots for dinosaurian diversity. No onenot even von Huene, could have dreamed of the kinds of things that would be found down there" and by all indications, will continue to be found." Kevin Padian, University of California, Berkeley"
"This peer-reviewed compilation of papers is intended to represent the current body of knowledge of reptilian paleontology from the southernmost portion of South America.... The writing is consistently well edited, and there is little variability in quality between the chapters.... Recommended." Choice"
