'The air is filled with a mist that creeps along the ground, circles around corners and settles into the background. There is a soft music playing in the background. It is a tune, so soft and quietly playing that she cannot make out what it is. But the tempo, the beat matches the soft swaying of her heart. Violins play to the same tune that pulls across her heart, "Paul," the music echoes his name and vibrates across time and space. Though she cannot make out what the name means because it is spoken in a language only the heart and spirit can understand. There is someone standing far off in the distance and she cannot see his face because it is covered in a hooded cloak. His face is not shown but there is something that she recognizes about this stranger who really isn't a stranger. She slips her small fingers into his warm hand and he firmly places a loving hand on the small of her back. They assume the classic stance of a waltz and begin to slowly move to the music. Is the music real or is it the attuned beating of their hearts that they hear? Not knowing and not caring as long as the beat continues to play, they move slowly at first and continue to move. The beat picks up and their bodies begin to move faster and faster until the surroundings merge into a swirl of twisting flashes. Faster and faster they twirl until her head and body can no longer keep up. Their hands are held together but begin to lose their grip. She feels a force pulling her backwards and away from the hooded figure. "NO " her heart cries as the background begins to fade and she is pulled further and further away. She feels the force of her body hit the ground as she sits up in shock and gasps awake. She is in the middle of her bedroom, the sheets pillows and blankets are scattered around the room. But the music, the frantic waltz is still beating within her heart and her hands and small of her back can still feel the warmth and imprint of his hands. This is the same dream that had haunted her for years. Always the same man, always the same place. She did not know who he was but yet each man who showed her interest was weighed and judged against the image of this man. This unknown phantom that she did not even know who he was. Her mind told her that he was not real and it was not fair to judge other men based on the unreal but her heart knew different. His name was hidden deep within her heart and part of her soul was missing. The missing piece of her soul was stitched with his name and she would remain incomplete until they united as one.'
