Notă biografică
Fernando Collantes is Associate Professor of Economic History at the University of Zaragoza (Spain). His previous monograph (in Spanish) analysed the depopulation of mountain communities in Spain 1850-2000. His articles in journals (Economic History Review, Agricultural History Review, Rural History, Agricultural History) investigate the interaction between economic and demographic change in rural Spain and rural Europe during the modern period. Vicente Pinilla is Professor in Economic History at the University of Zaragoza (Spain). He is author of several books and numerous papers in academic journals. He is co-editor of the book Agriculture and Economic Development in Europe since 1870 (Routledge, 2009) and editor of the book Markets and Agricultural Change in Europe from the 13th to the 20th century (Brepols, 2009).
