Pearls for My Children represents pieces of wisdom and experience, collected over two decades, intended to be imparted to our children at the milestone of graduation or before they leave home. Whatever course we take to achieve a worthwhile objective, it is fraught with challenges that determine our direction. Life, in general, is much the same on a larger scale. We should all hope that if we are leading, following, or just going it alone that we not hesitate to calculate so that we might not lose sight of the processes versus the goal. The goal is important, but since the process is living, we should reach for the "brass ring" if ever we are to feel fulfilled.
