Ohio-based Penny Haren is a nationally known quilting authority, consultant and teacher. The author of five books, Penny writes a newsletter for Checker Distributors, a leading distributor of books, patterns, notions and fabrics serving independent quilting, sewing and needlearts retailers. She also writes a notions column for Fab Shop News, a bi-monthly publication for shop owners.
