Frederick W. Hickling is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry, University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica, and Executive Director of the Caribbean Institute of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. He is Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Brigitte K. Matthies is Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, California State University, Los Angeles. Kai Morgan is Lecturer in Psychology, University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. Roger C. Gibson is Lecturer in Psychiatry, University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.
