Notă biografică

Sobhan Vinjamuri, MD, MBBS, FRCP, is Consultant Physician in Nuclear Medicine at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, a large acute teaching hospital that provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.  He has been Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University since 2006. Dr. Vinjamuri is currently President of the British Nuclear Medicine Society (2016-18) and has much experience as a Council Member for the Society (2002–5; 2011–). Since 2012 he has been Editor-in-Chief of Nuclear Medicine Communications. Dr. Vinjamuri has been a member of the Specialty Advisory Committee of the Royal College of Physicians of London since 2004 and a member of UK General Medical Council Fitness to Practice Panels since 2006. He has participated as an International Expert in various training courses conducted by the IAEA, Vienna. He is the author of more than 45 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
