When NYC criminology student Jenna Stack finally breaks up with her cheating boyfriend Liam, she finds herself broke, single and technically homeless. Thanks to her gay best friend Dave and his pet sitting business Tails of the City, Jenna secures temporary housing and a way to make some extra cash as a Pet Sitter. During a routine dog walk for high-end client Evan Blake, Max the bulldog drags her into the middle of a crime in progress. Quick thinking Jenna manages to save her handsome client but not before becoming a target herself. With varying degrees of help and interference from an eccentric mentor, neurotic client, hipster hacker, arrogant cop and enigmatic FBI agent, Jenna must face her fears and learn to trust her instincts fast, or she'll end up dead in a high stakes game of cat and mouse.
