Pete's Monster is a delightful children's bedtime picture storybook about a young boy named Pete and his Blue Monster. Pete's Monster is a rhyming story about friendship. It teaches children not to judge someone by their size or color. In the previous Pete's Monster book, Pete lashed out at the Blue Monster after the Monster startled him. Only when Pete made the Monster cry did he realize that the Monster is friendly and meant him no harm. To make it up to the Monster Pete does everything he can to make the Monster happy.
