Petty Matters

Sir William Petty (1623 - 1687) lives more than just an exciting life. Once a poor boy, he becomes a physician. But he doesn't stop here. Petty brings a hanged woman back to life, becomes a Fellow of the Royal Society, and befriends the likes of Isaac Newton, King Charles II and James II. He travels to Ireland and makes a fortune, while also inventing a great catamaran, which he uses to suppress pirates from the Barbary Coast. Petty has an encounter with ghosts, solves the mystery of who really set the Great Fire of London, uncovers a Dutch spy, and solves a mystery set in the London Theatre.
