Philament Switch III is a child light bulb, growing up in the city of Brightown. Phil is on a quest to discover what he wants to be when he grows up. Phil was different than the other light bulbs in that he was cracked, but those cracks are what give Phil his personality and character. As Phil explores his life in Brightown he visits his family and the great inventor Mr. Albert Einshine, who helps him to realize he can be he want to be. Philament is different so he has to determine "how he will shine" in the world and he does by "breaking out of his bulb "
