Heinrich Heine and Christopher Johnston (editor) Heine wrote several travellogs on his journeys in Germany, Italy, England and Northern Europe. We have published the Harz Journey and Journey to Italy. In addition to these Pictures of Travel will bring together all five of his extant travel writings in one volume. Based upon the scholarly standard translations of Charles Leyland they have been annotated and edited by Christopher Johnson.
