I have found writing poetry one of the most deeply compassionate ways I can connect with myself and what my heart is trying to say. A form of active journaling, to express without over thinking, to write the words that come for the heart but with a protection of the structure and rhyming sequences, your thoughts do not take over, you get to the true depth of within. This collection of poems is therefore just a small token of my heart and my mind.
