Ever since it's founding in 1946 the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) had been at the forefront of public health issues, identifying new diseases and controlling outbreaks. Now a new problem has arisen ...and it's turning people into vampires. What else do you call people who need a steady supply of fresh blood to survive?
The Centers for Disease Control Tactical Team, CDCTT, has been created to deal with this new crisis. But this isn't just a disease, some people are trying to get infected, misguided scientists want to want to modify the disease and extremists are calling for the infected to be quarantined or killed.
If the job was not hard enough there is also a charismatic vampire manipulating people gaining followers and leaving destruction in his wake.
