Wood Wisdom is passed to the reader as he/she follows a love story between a Tree Nymph and her Locust Tree from sprouting to beyond life. During this journey, the Nymph and Tree meet the "Walking Trees" and covertly engage in a game played on white and black squares. Love grows while playing this game as Wood Wisdom is passed from the Nymph and Locust Tree to the children who come to play within the Tree's hollow. Consequently, the joy felt by children returns love to the Nymph and Tree. This combination of love transcends all boundaries. In conclusion, a secret and safe place is created for all children, big and small. Here they can go to ask their questions, take their feelings and share their secret thoughts. Here they know they are loved. Here a myth is born.
