Notă biografică
Harold Stein is a retired physician and proud grandfather of five grandsons. He has written scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and taught residents and medical students for many years. He has participated in several international medical aid missions and has a serious concern about the health and welfare of the planet that his grandchildren will inherit. This book is a collaborative effort with his six-year-old grandson, Ethan. The author and his wife split their time in Florida and New York City. Ethan Wong is a six-year-old first grade student in Montclair, New Jersey. He has a keen interest in reading, soccer, and fishing. Along with his brother and cousins, he is concerned about our environment and the effects of pollution on the future of our planet. While living in New York City he and his "Poppy" wrote this book after noticing many plastic bags stuck in trees throughout his Brooklyn neighbourhood. His hope is that this book will encourage others to join him and his family in taking action to improve the environment.
