PLATO'S EPISTEMOLOGY: Plato's writings on Epistemology, (or the theory of knowledge), have a central place in his works. They are an astonishing achievement, spanning, a vast array of topics and problems, and overlapping with many more: they are the product of an immensely fertile mind. Many philosophers in the past have been deeply influenced by them, and many still continue to be. Andreas Sofroniou has concentrated on what he considers to be the most important epistemological passages in Plato.
