Lola Schaefer taught elementary school for 18 years where she developed her love of storytelling. Her books include Easter Surprises, Toolbox Twins, An Island Grows, and Pick, Pull, Snap!: Where Once a Flower Bloomed. Lola lives with her husband Ted and their two cats, Calvin and Hobbes, in the mountains of north Georgia.
Kellie Lewis is an award-winning animator who is now pursuing a career in children's illustrations. She and her family live in Urbana, Ohio, with three horses, lots of chickens, and too many dogs.
