I thank God for leading me to write Christian Poetry. It warms my heart when I'm inspired to write words that are pleasing and meaningful for my readers. I have been writing Christian Poetry for more than forty years now and have found it to be very rewarding... decidedly not monetarily, but most assuredly it has been spiritually rewarding to me. There have been many times when I felt inspired to write and could complete a poem within hours. However, in most cases, there is a decided lull in the inspiration necessary to make the words flow as they should. Poems of Assurance Volume II, is my 12th Book of Christian Poetry which I have had published with my friends at Selah Publishing Group. It's likely it shall be my last. It's not because I have lost my desire to write poems for my God, but I feel the Lord is directing me invest time to promote the poetry I have written. God has been wonderful to me, granting me a long life, a wonderful wife and family, for which I give Him my deepest gratitude-for I do love Him so.
