The anorexic and financialised economy describes why matured economies with super-efficient corporations are dependent on government spending and guarantees. Conventional fiscal and monetary policies are unable to resolve the economic deficiencies because they do not account for how information effects have imposed its imprint on societal structures and disrupted relationships between output, income, profits, employment, capital and interest rates.
