Polish is the official language of Poland where it is spoken by about 38 million people. It is also spoken by more than 4 million people in Eastern Europe and in North America. There are many dialects of Polish. Pimsleur's Polish teaches Standard Polish, as spoken or understood throughout Poland.

Reading Lessons are included at the end of Unit 30 to provide you with an introduction to reading Polish. These lessons, which total about one hour, are designed to teach you to sound out words with correct pronunciation and accent.
