Notă biografică

Chandana Chakrabarti is a Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Center for Spirituality at Bethany College (WV). She received her Ph.D. in religious studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo and did post-doctoral work in philosophical psychology and comparative philosophy at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. She is a specialist in South Asian philosophy and religion. She is vice president of the Society for Indian Philosophy and Religion and associate editor of the Journal of Indian Philosophy and Religion. Sandra Jane Fairbanks is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Barry University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. Her areas of research are ethical theory, environmental ethics, political theory and the philosophy of law.
