Potage

Dave O'Connell is a retired baby boomer whose experiences in the foodie explosion during the 1970s pulled him out of the telephone business and into the kitchen. He graduated from New York City College of Technology's Hotel and Restaurant department, completed an internship in a hotel kitchen outside of Paris, and worked in some of New York's best French beaneries, including Cafe des Artistes, Le Cirque, and The River Cafe.

O'Connell remains an avid cook to this day and follows the culinary scene. Through "Potage," he hopes to leave his granddaughter a clearer picture of himself-that strange old man who had one hell of a run."
