A novena (from Latin: Novem, meaning Nine) is an act of religious pious devotion originating in ancient Christianity, often consisting of private or public prayers repeated for nine successive days in belief of obtaining special intercessory graces. Pray without ceasing. God is always ready to answer you. He is always at your door. Open your house so that he can come in and dine with you (Rev. 3: 9-20)
