His education includes: Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma, Radiology Residency at OU, and Neuroradiology Fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Coffman is a voracious reader with an insatiable curiosity. His religious education started as a child and has continued both informally with self study and formally including Education for Ministry from the School of Theology, University of the South and a class on Hebrew Bible at St. Paul's School of Theology. Although Dr. Coffman has known since a child that God was preparing him to write; he always assumed that it would be in science fiction.
