Accreditation of critically acclaimed Schools of Business is in the public interest and therefore more a matter of right than privilege, subject to generally accepted educational standards, and generally accepted educational standards on auditing, in a straight-forward and speedy process akin to the attestation of public companies' financial statements all over the world. The objectives of the Asian Association of Schools of Business International (AASBI) are to enable Colleges, Departments and Schools of Business ("the School") of higher post-secondary education in Asia and beyond to obtain accreditation based on periodic audits of their assertions regarding educational and financial conditions and positions in accordance and in compliance with the AASBI's Generally Accepted Education Principles (GAEP), as amended from time to time.
