Recenzii

One thing I would like to highlight is the authors' commitment to developing students' critical thinking skills, their creativity, reflexivity, and application of psychology findings in context.
The material is absolutely pitched at an appropriate level for students new to psychology as a discipline. I think that authors have achieved an excellent balance between being accessible without being too informal or over-simplified. The material is presented in a way that is not intimidating for students.
This book makes a critical approach accessible, and should scaffold students in developing their critical thinking.
The book gives the students a broad understanding of what psychology entails a cognitive map of psychology, if you will. I really like that.
