Principles & Practice of Physics, Volume 1 (Chapters 1-21), Global Edition
Autor Eric Mazuren Limba Engleză Paperback – 27 apr 2022
For a strong, deep, and fundamentallysimple understanding of physics
Eric MazurGÇÖsgroundbreaking Principles and Practice of Physics establishesan understanding of physics that is thorough and accessible. MazurGÇÖs uniquepedagogy and popular peer-to-peer instruction techniques incorporate insightssupported by physics education research (PER) to help students develop a trueconceptual understanding alongside the quantitative skills needed in thecourse. The material emphasizes core unifying ideas with the first half of eachchapter teaching the ideas using words and images GÇô not mathematics. The secondhalf of each chapter casts the ideas into quantitative and symbolic form.
The 2nd Edition integrateskey features from the Practice volume into the Principles volume. The new edition provides new prelecture material that better prepares studentsto come to class ready to participate and supports instructors in buildingactive and relevant lectures.
