Prisoners of War

Autor Stuart L. Scott
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 28 sep 2018
"....a heartbreaking novel, unflinching in its acceptance of the world's incurable flaws....an affecting and historically keen story." Kirkus Reviews "Prisoners of War" is simultaneously a love story, a mystery and a history, all woven together. How far would you go to win back your love, when the government has taken her away? Fear, racism and abiding love collide in 1942 America, when your only crime was being born Japanese. Everything of a historical nature is true to the best of my knowledge and research. Conflict between love and duty; Conflict between love of country and the love of your life.

Notă biografică

After returning from the Air Force Stu Scott worked as custodial staff in a juvenile detention facility, moving on to adult probation and finally to federal probation and parole. Simultaneously, in 1980 he returned to the military as a reserve agent with the Army Criminal Investigation Command. Born and raised in the San Francisco bay area, he has lived with his wife in Moscow, Idaho since 1981. Believing that we only go around once in life and that one job is never enough, his other careers include: professional winemaker, college instructor, director of a school for disabled children and stained glass artist.
