Notă biografică
Letina Banks has a Ph.D. in higher education, master's degree in science education from Nova Southeastern University, and bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Mobile. She is an academic advisor in the School of Nursing and an instructor of biology at Florida A&M University. Dr. Banks created and implemented the Advising Program for Biology at Florida A&M, an initiative which has significantly reduced student dropout rates. The program also inspired Florida A&M faculty to develop a course called Professional Development in Biology, which has increased student enrollment in the biology department and ensures students are well prepared for their academic career and beyond.
