Notă biografică
Thomas Tyme is a horseman with occupational experience in the dental industry, institutional chemicals, advertising, copy writing, art and business ownership. With a college education from the University of Texas in Austin, TX. and The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. He explains, "It is my Christian faith that provides me with a wonderfully insightful imagination." Experiences with horses in the American: east, southwest, and west, are characterized in "Protecting Beauty." He brings life to the idea, "if wishes were horses we would all be riding." Such representations of angelic horses have never been portrayed as in this war story. They fly but do so much more. Tyme says, "I imagine horses in contrast to dragons. Some stories of fantastical dragons have them acting as horses by the way they roam through skies. The four angelic studs in "Protecting Beauty" do what dragons could never do and more gracefully." Supernatural horses are as mythological as dragons and yet never as glorified until now. By this imagination the concept of a realm where horses are supernatural ignites. Thomas has long asked himself if angelic horses could come down from heaven as one of God's instruments against evil? He remarks, "I would trully enjoy riding through the sky on the back of an angelic flying horse while trumpets sound victoriously in rescue to a maiden land." "The well wishers for mighty dragons saving anything never had my vote of confidence. Somehow I never quite grasped dragons as symbols of goodness. The supernatural mysteries in Christian history portray dragons as defeated often by an angel on a horse. I cast my vote for mighty angelic horses. Somehow I think they would make better friends. I believe in more profound victories when angelic horses take on dragonous souls."
