PTSD book. (Survival: What to do when you get PTSD.) This book is written in a simple and conversational style, so it is easy to read and understand. This book does not contain Suzi's personal story, but it talks about the holistic healing techniques that Suzi used to recover from PTSD and to get her life back. This book talks about survival tips, stress management, professional help, relationships, social media, mantra meditation, emotional healing, calming your mind, simple tips to help your body and your immune system, depression remedies, karma, and the importance of moving forwards with your life. Suzi's Bio: Suzi learned about many different types of healing, to help her to recover from her problems in life. Then she helped many others. Suzi's parents were WWII survivors, and Suzi grew up in a PTSD household. Suzi thought it was "normal" to have to tip-toe around her father and his violent tantrums. Her parents regularly argued, and she was hit by both parents with wooden spoon and leather belt strap. Later in her adult life, Suzi's second divorce was from an alcoholic ex-husband where she had lived in a serious domestic violence situation. Then in her mid-thirties she lost her job, health, career, and her money, due to a "mysterious" disfiguring and debilitating illness. Then when the doctors couldn't do much more for Suzi, then Suzi began to learn about natural and holistic healing alternatives, so that she could help herself to recover. Then Suzi got better by using holistic healing techniques. Then Suzi began to help others as a healer. Later she met her partner, who is her soul mate. Then she lost their still-born baby at home alone in traumatic circumstances, which is when she had her Angel experience. Then only one week after losing her baby when she wasn't very mobile, she was accosted and bullied at home by her next-door neighbor. So then she didn't feel safe at home anymore, so she quickly sold her house and moved into a string of rentals. That meant she lost her comfortable little home and garden where she had lived for over ten years. It took over a year, but holistic healing helped Suzi to get through the PTSD and depression of losing her baby in those unusual circumstances. Then she resumed helping others as a healer. Then just as she had recovered from losing her baby, she was then sexually molested in broad daylight. Unfortunately Suzi was molested by her own father Then with another shock, Suzi immediately remembered that it was NOT the first time Then a sudden flood of repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse, including "child group sex," came back to her. Then the psycho-somatic response from that trauma and PTSD left Suzi unable to walk for 3 years, and then she needed a walking stick for the rest of her forties. But Suzi used holistic healing to throw away the walking stick, and to recover from PTSD, and then she got her life back. Later Suzi and her partner moved to the country coast for a fresh new start. That's when Suzi began to write her books. Unfortunately Suzi was then bullied there too, and then later she almost died from health complications from that period of time. But Suzi used holistic healing techniques, and then she recovered. Suzi emerged happier, more at peace, and stronger in herself than she had ever been before, and she resumed her writing again. She decided that she was NOT going to give the "dark side" the satisfaction of keeping her down any longer, so she healed herself with holistic healing, and then she got back to her life purpose of writing. Suzi knows that the ideas and techniques in this PTSD book will also help other people to recover and to get their lives back too.
