Nancy Haight Penrose was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. From a young age, she developed a keen interest in history and genealogy, spending countless hours delving into her family's past. Nancy's love for history and storytelling has now culminated in her first book, which chronicles the fascinating story of her family providing readers with an unforgettable glimpse into the past.When not immersed in the world of genealogy and historical research, Nancy is an active member of Women for a Humane Canada, a group dedicated to promoting animal welfare. She is also a volunteer wildlife transporter, using her passion for animals to make a difference in her community.
