Getting upset, developing a vengeful attitude, committing violent acts, thinking negative thoughts, becoming argumentative, raising your voice, using sharp words or cursing, as well as holding things in and refusing to let them go, are all symptoms of not controlling your anger. David tells us in Psalm 37:8 "Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret.it leads only to evil."
