Bercksichtigt sind selbststndige Dokumentationen (zeitgenssische Druckwerke oder sptere wissenschaftliche Akteneditionen) und auch monographische Traditionsquellen (wie Memoiren).


The "Quellenkunde" - a biblipgraphy of published historical sources - is the first of its kind for German and European history from 1500 to the year 2000. It lists and comments upon contemporary documentary material - such as memoirs, letters and diaries - as well as critical scholarly editions of source material. Vol. 1 comprises the period from the Reformation to the peace of Utrecht, the second covers the period from 1714 to 1815, and the thrid the period from 1815 to the year 2000.
