Recenzii
A touching portrayal of a mother-daughter relationship set against one of the most iconic moments in recent history.
An uplifting novel celebrating the Queen and the group of strangers brought together following her death
'an astute debut'
This novel celebrates not only the Queen but the diverse people she served. Among them are a British Indian mother and daughter separated by their differences but together in pilgrimage, unaware how it will change their lives.
incredibly gorgeous novel... Queuing for the Queen is a special and wholesome novel, which will leave the reader uplifted and with a huge smile on their face.
"Beautifully sensitive, quietly reflective, this absorbing tale about a group of strangers brought together following the death of Queen Elizabeth II is an absolute triumph. "
This is an absolutely wonderful read - full of all kinds of strangers brought together by their common purpose. Most of all, though, it's the story of Rani - the mother - and Tania - her daughter... Queuing for the Queen is just such a wonderful little book - and I do urge you to read it.
Queuing for the Queen is such a wonderful little read, I loved it.
