Quileute Language Book One This book is the first of a series produced by the Quileute Tribe for the purpose of teaching and preserving the Quileute Language and the Culture of the tribe. The Quileute Alphabet provides a guide to the unique sounds and pronunciation of the Quileute alphabet, and begins the development of vocabulary, structure of words and phrases necessary to students of the language. The Quileute Language is unique in the world, with a small number of speakers remaining. Preservation of the language will be through the interest and effort of students of the language to diligently study and learn to speak Quileute. Proceeds from the sale of this book support culture and language programs of the Quileute Tribe.
