Lollipops, sunflower seeds and sundresses are all a girl's best friend, but that's far from the case for Rain Waters. Rain is a pretentious young woman from the Webster House, a housing project in the Bronx, NY. Unthinkable tragedies at a young age have stolen this woman's innocence, leaving her shattered and battered by the one's closest to her. The expected concern for Rain's well being is overshadowed by greed, money, and power. Having reached her breaking point, Rain devises a plan to set herself free from the physical and emotional chains in which she finds herself. Is it possible for a product of abuse to live a normal life and find true love, or will her horrid past of abuse, misuse, betrayal and deceit plague her forever?
