Notă biografică
Sharon Dawn was sexually abused as a child then physically and mentally abused as a young mother. She believed she was stupid and worthless; until one day, she managed to escape with her children. Sharon went into hiding for 10 years, until her kids were classed as adults and the courts had no jurisdiction to force visitation with a dangerous man.
During this time Sharon went on a mission to 'find herself' as she had no idea who she was. She had lived for 31 years being told what to say, what to wear, and who she could be friends with; first by her father and then her husband.
Her journey has taken many interesting turns as she built businesses, traveled the world, became a cleaner, a salesperson, a resort manager, then artist and now writer. Sharon believes you can do anything you choose once you learn to release the past, focus on the present moment, and plan your future and your dreams. "Life passes by quickly unless we make the effort to plan our experiences and do what excites us."
By utilising drawing like a child and writing from within techniques, Sharon has learned to use creativity as a tool to connect to her heart and manifest her chosen lifestyle. She is no longer a victim to her memories or internal chatter of not being good enough, instead, she follows her heart wherever it takes her. The Rainbow Vision Journal series of guided journals shows victims of trauma and abuse on how to follow their hearts and manifest their dreams as they release their past.
