Ramorsia

Autor Hubert Williams
en Limba Engleză Paperback
Abriel Nalir had been taken as a child when her family was killed in the desert by raiders who had attacked the small caravan that they were traveling with. All women and female children were kept as slaves and prostitutes. Abriel was separated from her mother and sold to a trader named Nalir. Eventually, with no recollection of her own family name, she took his last name as hers. When Abriel was in her mid teen years she killed her master after years of severe beatings. After she killed him she took his valuables and ran through the desert all night until finally collapsing. She woke up the next morning in the home of Val and Lorana d'Roulia, the owners of a large holding of land and sheep on the outer edge of Ramorsia. Ramorsia was a booming town at that time, and experiences from the life that had been chosen for her had given her insight into the ways of survival. Abriel worked for d'Roulia for several months, but being a shepherd girl was not what she had planned for her life. The Vasencia Family By the time Trebala and Nelatra arrived in Ramorsia, a few members of Trebala's band of raiders who had been sent ahead of the group had gathered a great deal of information on the city of Ramorsia, its government and lack of civil authority along with the daily business and area of coverage of Abriel Nalir's organization. Nalir, Trebala was told, controlled the southern half of Ramorsia in agreement with the city's government. Meaning, the city authorities agreed not to compromise Abriel's activities in Ramorsia and she would not have their holdings burned. Abriel would also donate from to time to the city's coffers. She owned or controlled several taverns and brothels in Ramorsia. There were about to be major changes in Ramorsia.
