Random Thoughts from the Heart: A Collection

Autor Michelle Poitier
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 31 mar 2012
Our Father is a very personal and intimate Father and He is concerned about everything that concerns us. Random Thoughts From The Heart: A Collection is a dialogue of the Father talking to me and I am talking to the Father. During these intimate conversations I learned that God is a right now God that can handle issues we consider unpretty, unacceptable or rather x-rated. As I opened up to Him He also poured Himself into me. In this dialogue I realized that for so long I have ignored my Father's beauty and have rejected His touch. I learned that I could not relate to my heavenly Father as I related to my earthly Father. This collection encompasses conversations with God on heartfelt issues that I could not take to anyone else. During these conversations with God, He softened my hardened heart. At that moment I allowed my heart to be malleable in His hands. My heart was no longer stone but flesh. In that moment, I came out of the desert because the water had broken. I allowed myself to cry because the tears brought with it a cleansing and a new agenda. I allowed myself to laugh because the laughter gave me peace. When I allowed the Father ingress to my heart that's when the healing began, that's when I learned to surrender myself to Him, that's when I understood intimacy and the need to be honest with him. I can only be close to Him if I am honest with Him. Come let us reason together took on a whole new meaning in my life. When I shared the random thoughts of my heart with my Father, He showed me love and acceptance that I could never otherwise imagine.
