Howard Edelstein is an animal advocate who has worked with various animal protection organizations for the past three decades. He has a B. S. in Emergency Management and works with several organizations caring for animals during disasters and cruelty cases.

Howard has also written "Scooter Strays," an interactive children's book about the dangers a stray dog faces. Howard shares his home with his three cats. He has made plans for them in the event of a disaster.
