Widely Produced Playwright: Drury's plays have been presented on Off-Broadway stages and developed at Sundance, The Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep, Manhattan Theatre Club, and Arts Nova, among others.
Collaborator with Richard Maxwell: Drury’s play Really was directed by TCG Books author Richard Maxwell and premiered with his company New York City Players.
Contributed to the story of Justin Peck’s Illinois: Drury helped craft the story for Justin Peck’s dance theatre production Illinois, based on the critically-acclaimed album by Sufjan Stevens.
Institutional Affiliations: Drury teaches playwriting at the Yale School of Drama. She was the 2012-2013 Van Lier Fellowship at New Dramatists and the inaugural recipient of the 2012-2014 Jerome Fellowship at The Lark. She was also a 2015 United States Artist Gracie Fellow and a NYTW Usual Suspect. She lives in Brooklyn.

Jackie Sibblies Drury is a Brooklyn based playwright. Her plays include Fairview; We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as South West Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915; Really; Marys Seacole; and Social Creatures. She received a 2015 Windham-Campbell Literary Prize in Drama, a 2012-2013 Van Lier Fellowship at New Dramatists, and was the inaugural recipient of the 2012-2014 Jerome Fellowship at The LARK. Jackie is a NYTW Usual Suspect and a 2015 United States Artists Gracie Fellow. Her play Fairview won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
