A Journey of Man And the great healer passed his hand over the child and a third time he held up the child for all to see. And a third time he spoke to the crowd saying, "It is the will of God that for generations to come all with know the power of God through the hands of a child. What was given to me has been given to her. This child is protected by God himself. No man, woman, child, or beast of the earth shall harm this child. This is the will of God." And the great healer handed the child to her parents and he touched them and he blessed them. And he spoke to them saying, "Your child will serve God. Return to your place and share the blessing which God has given." The Apostle Simon Peter spoke these words in the year 37 CE. With these words, a journey began. This is a journey that will take you from the gates of the city of Jerusalem to the mountains of Asia. This is a journey that will take you from the battlefields of World War II to the playhouse of three young children. This is a journey of love and compassion. This is a journey of hope and forgiveness. This is a journey, which is not complete.
