Notă biografică

Priscilla Layne is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of German at UC Berkeley where she researches issues of rebellion in German literature, music and film. She received her B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago in 2003 and her M.A. in German from UC Berkeley in 2006. Melissa Etzler received her M.A. in German from California State University, Long Beach and she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of German at the University of California, Berkeley. Her interests include contemporary German cinema and foreign language pedagogy. Her dissertation focuses on madness in twentieth-century literature.
