Nagi Maehashi is the creator of the hugely popular RecipeTin Eats blog and a resident of Sydney, Australia. She is known and loved for her dedication to quick and easy recipes for classic dinners and more challenging but doable dishes. In 2021, she launched RecipeTin Meals, a not-for-profit division of RecipeTin Eats committed to playing a part in addressing issues of hunger and food insecurity by providing support for struggling, vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the Sydney community. Her debut cookbook was published in Australia in 2022, becoming the highest selling title ever by a debut Australian author in its first week, and the highest-selling non-fiction book in the country that year.
