Notă biografică
Norman Housley is Professor of History at the University of Leicester, UK and one of the most distinguished historians of crusading theory and practice. In recent years he has focused on crusading in the fifteenth century. His recent publications include Crusading and the Ottoman Threat, 1453−1505 (Oxford University Press, 2012) and The Crusade in the Fifteenth Century: Converging and Competing Cultures (Routledge, 2017).
