Rediscovering the Reformation – Learning from the one church in its struggles

Autor Matthew Knell
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 18 apr 2019
Taking the early Reformation as its focus, Rediscovering the Reformation examines how a belief in one church and one faith has changed and been expressed throughout history. Looking at how the early reformers saw the different weaknesses and perceived corruptions of the church, Knell sheds light on the theological implications of these great changes and what they mean for us today. Showing how those first reformers stayed true to the vision of the one body of Christ, this book works through the various developing beliefs and forms of the Christian faith. Knell ultimately shows us that in understanding how the various reform groups viewed the need to change, we can see the first 1500 years of church history in a new light. Rediscovering the Reformation call on us to consider reforming thought anew, and what such renewal can mean for us today.
